  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I have two observations. One, it is good to note that matters which were deliberated in this House yesterday have passed and they should not be brought back to this House. The Leader of the Majority Party and the Chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee should declare their interest on this. If they have special interests, let them notify this House so that we can know where to place them. Two, it is good for you to protect me. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, let me say something. I was elected with over 87,000 votes. The Leader of the Majority Party got about 12,000 votes. It is bad for him to insult or belittle me before my constituents. I have a right to affirm or not affirm any matter in this House. I have a right to say nay or agree. So, the Leader of the Majority Party should know that if we go by the votes I got, I can be senior in this House. The Leader of the Majority Party, please, respect me. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I cannot agree more with my colleagues, especially the Leader of the Majority Party, because the initiative and the thinking are good, but the implementation is bad. So, the Committee on Implementation and the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare should follow on the officers who are supposed to implement the budgets. Some of the assets must be recovered, so that we can help our youths. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Lastly, protect me from the Leader of the Majority Party. He should learn to treat me as his senior in terms of the votes he got. He has the title, but I have the votes. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only. Acertified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor. view
  • 7 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, consultations are allowed but, please, protect the Member on the Floor. The Leader of the Majority Party and his team are making a lot of noise. We want to hear what is going on. Consultations are allowed but protect the Member. view
  • 7 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Hon. Deputy Speaker. view
  • 7 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, who is the Member going by the name Jicho Pevu? I have never heard of such a Member in this House. Hon. Deputy Speaker, I kindly seek your indulgence. view
  • 7 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Who is the Member? We all have names. Can the Member tell us the Member she is referring to as Jicho Pevu? view
  • 7 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: No! I have been intervening when Hon. Duale is consulting loudly. view
