Given that this House has provisions for Ministers who have comprehensive reports to make and answer questions, particularly on a matter such as this which is really the engine of our economy, would I be in order to request that you ask him to go and make this presentation to the relevant Departmental Committee, so that, that Committee can come and give us a comprehensive report? These issues, as the Assistant Minister admits, are very complicated and, with the time he has, he clearly cannot answer the Question appropriately. view

Ojode up to the end there, collective responsibility to this House. In the event one Minister is sick, or is sleeping, or is flying, he can send a message to another person, so that the House can be kept informed! This is because they appear to be getting away with impunity. So, could the Minister tell the House who the proprietors of this company are? view

Members to get in touch with the District Commissioners when it is his responsibility to ensure that these names are gazetted? Is it in order for him now to shift the blame to somebody else? view

It is a defiance of the direction of the Speaker. Is it in order for us just to ignore direction and orders of the Speaker without getting any explanation other than: “I shall inform them”? view
