Hon. Chairlady, I am giving the Director of Public Prosecutions Kshs1 billion to enhance the work of his Office. This is important to the Jubilee Government. The Auditor-General’s Office has been allocated a meagre Kshs1.8 billion; it is the same amount that was given to that Office last year. Beginning this year, we are going to have 48 governments. Unless we wish to export corruption to the counties, we should fund the Office of the Auditor-General adequately. We are already seeing what the governors are doing. Many hon.
