In fact, the place where most people do not have identity cards is Remba Island where Mrs. Odhiambo- Mabona comes from and Mr. Kajwang is the Member of Parliament for that place. This is also a very short Bill. The intention of this amendment is to build on to the Bill which we have just passed. It is important that the Registrar of Political Parties Office be independent and be chosen in a way that is agreed by all political parties.
