  • 9 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. view
  • 9 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: Yes I am proceeding. You must restrain this Cheboi. He is a young boy. view
  • 9 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: Let me thank Hon. Sakaja. We have been talking about revising our rules. In many jurisdictions now, if you go to their parliaments, none of those things are followed any more. It looks very colonial shouting in the corridors for even young people to hear. It is very wrong. How nice would it be for us sitting here sometimes just dressed like Hon. Mwaura or the way Koigi wa Wamwere used to dress? I am on a point of order, you ‘Nyangores’. I had occasion to visit some assemblies where people can even eat and snack in the Chamber. This ... view
  • 9 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I thought these are two different amendments whereby we will dispose of one and then go to the next. He is saying that you have given him time to amend a proposed amendment. view
  • 9 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I rise to support the amendment by the Member for Kiminini. Injendi is on record that he has an amendment. He is opposing Hon. Wamalwa’s amendment and supporting his. I want ... view
  • 9 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I am not aware Hon. Injendi is a Member of a briefcase party because as far as I know, he is one of us and a Member in his own right. The logic I am giving is that Kenya is a multiparty State, but there are so many crooks on the streets that are holding briefcase parties that they can only have one Member of a county assembly and enjoy public funds. In an electioneering period, if somebody feels aggrieved by The National Alliance Party (TNA) or ODM, they grab the next party possible which is ... view
  • 3 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I will be brief. The tip you gave the House, I hope the Whips have moved to call other Members. view
  • 3 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, that is how he is. Forgive him. He is a good person. view
