benefit. I am here not to laugh at anybody because this is not an English class. As you put it, it does not matter whether you speak in Kiswahili or English. We are here to state facts. I would like to acknowledge the Senate Majority Leader who was my classmate in a philosophy class. In philosophy, they say that right is right even if everybody is against it, and wrong is wrong even if everybody is for it.

In that respect, I stand to support this Motion. Additionally, I hope that the proposed Members of the SBC will bring business to do with issues affecting the citizens of Kenya and not their own. I also heard people talking about young and old people. I have something to say regarding that. We do not have young or old representatives. We are here to represent our counties, which are all important. When someone talks of young, are they referring to a county or an individual? We have to respect the counties that we represent. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, we are all mature people and most of us are married. Hon. Duale said he is protecting his constituents. It is very true that we represent people; the disadvantaged and the advantaged. Scientifically, women are not allowed to marry more than one man. However, men are allowed to marry more than one wife. Scientifically, the number of women is higher than that of men. It is the X chromosome against the Y chromosome. So, what do we do? Since genetically, we are allowed to marry more women, what do we do to these many people? They ...

Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. It is comical that many people are still asking where the locusts are. Locusts have been there for almost one-and-a- half years. So, we are asking for a solution and not complaining. Therefore, we should reason together and ensure that we silence them forever. I am wondering because the national Government has not yet declared this phenomenon a national disaster. Our safety will only be ensured when locusts invade Nairobi. When they see locusts in offices, they will become serious. It takes time for Kenyans to save one another. ...
