I want to support my colleagues that a police officer is a police officer by mandate and by the constitutional functions given. The reason why I oppose this is because the Speaker and any other person will use these powers to threaten and intimidate Members of Parliament. We are representing constituencies and there is no other person who will take powers to intimidate us. We want to be respected. view

On the other hand, you will find that in a specific location or village--- For example, in Turkana or the furthest corner of Tana River, all people are criminals. We cannot sit here as Members of Parliament and deny that there is no corruption in Kenya. That denial is what has failed us. We must confront the disease. First, it provides a fair and transparent means of declaring an entity or an individual bankrupt.
