  • 24 May 2022 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Having heard the answer, the responsibility of security in this country lies with the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. Kenyans demand to be safe wherever they stay. The Ministry brings its budget to this House which we pass without question and they lack nothing. In their Statement to this House, they should have indicated what they lack and the causes of rampant insecurity in some areas. With that, I have heard this House requires serious answers. They cannot give an answer which is not water-tight and vague to this House. The CS must ... view
  • 17 May 2022 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Speaker. I also join my friends to congratulate Hon. Olago Aluoch. I also thank the President for choosing this very humble man whom I had been watching on television while at home. Not only does he fare well in the House, but he also chooses smaller parties, which do not work well in his area, and wins seats for them. I congratulate him. He does not come with the wind. He comes with his brains, which have given him this honour. I join my people of Kabuchai to congratulate him. He is an outgoing Member ... view
  • 17 May 2022 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Speaker. We must reject these names in totality. I was looking at Dr. Cecilia; a lady who was the head of Human Resources in KEBS. There were ills and issues on how Kenyans drank unsafe water during her tenure. The market was flooded with contaminated water which was as a result of her department’s failure. However, she did nothing nor fired anyone in that regard. If we get leaders who can distribute contaminated water to the market, and Kenyans in turn drink it while they watch and take no issue with it… I say so ... view
  • 17 May 2022 in National Assembly: With all these information, we want for once to make this House to bring sanity in Kenya. Our sons and daughters are watching us; they are watching how we choose leaders in this country. If we pick leaders from wrong departments using corrupt deals, they would also want to go the same way so that in future, they come up…We must pick leaders from the right departments, if The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. • 17 May 2022 in National Assembly: we want to have a better Kenya. Kenya is not short of clean and good people who have not done bad things. Kenya is not short of the right people. view
  • 17 May 2022 in National Assembly: Looking at this document, the one who fed Kenyans with the wrong water is the one who is seeking the oversight role. I totally disagree. Let us reject these two names in totality. view

  • 30 Mar 2022 in National Assembly: Thank you, very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I stand to support the Information Communication Technology Practitioners Bill. It is high time we got sanity in the ICT sector and ensure there is liability. If one is running a cybercafé, he should be held responsible for issues that come under him. The only way to move towards this direction of responsibility is by going the doctor’s way where you are trained and registered. view
  • 30 Mar 2022 in National Assembly: So, for you to run a cybercafé you must have training in ICT so as to understand what you are doing and not just because of business. When I look at this Bill, it will bring the traceability factor. You can trace where a crime happened and by whom because firms will be registered and held responsible for anything they do. In this country, this field is abused in a way that malpractices and extortions have affected the financial sector. This Bill will implore the ICT practitioner to stand responsible for what they believe. The secrecy aspect which this Bill ... view
  • 30 Mar 2022 in National Assembly: Also, this should not be a practice for anyone who believes they can buy a few things and start without knowledge on regulations. Even those operating in this sector must be trained; certificate, diploma and degree holders must be registered. For us to bring discipline into this sector we must first of all know who the owners are and for you to run an organisation, you must be trained. I want to believe the Member who brought this Bill is a professional in this area and has given us the best National Assembly Bill No.38 of 2020. If we support ... view
