I sought a Statement from the Leader of the Majority Party on 17th June, 2014 but up to now, there is no response. Is he doing it selectively or he has to respond to all requests because we are entitled as Members of this Parliament to get responses from him and committee chairpersons. It is not in good faith. • 28 Aug 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, in Western Province, we grow coffee, sugarcane and by extension maize. To my disappointment, the coffee sector has been killed. This is because the officers who were employed by the Government like the District Co-operative Officers collaborated with the management of the coffee factories. The farmers never earned anything out of their crop. This is the cash crop that people have to grow to get some money to take their children to school.
