Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this Motion. The audited reports as they have been tabled by the able Committee in this House reflect good progress in terms of our aspiration to grow political parties. It is unfortunate that experience is the best teacher. We are reading from very nasty experiences like what my colleague has talked about in KANU, which was the strongest party and with infrastructural developments almost everywhere. However, one big mistake that we are making with the political parties is that we are still allowing them ...

Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I thank my good friend, Hon. Caleb Kositany, for extending this magnanimity to me. This Motion may have come at a good time. As we all know, the demand for schooling always increases as land decreases. We are in dire need of preparing learning facilities for our children who are ever increasing in number.

I therefore suggest that when we sit down at the tail-end of this process we should help Hon. Kositany to make compulsory acquisition of land part of the Bill. I want to echo what has emerged here; that the NG-CDF is ...

On a point of order, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I may be a little bit late. However, I wanted Hon. Wamunyinyi to state with facts how he knows about the Governor of Uasin Gishu County. This is because he is not present in this House to take personal responsibility. This is not something you can just wish away. That a Governor can wake up and pack up street children in a lorry and take them elsewhere. It is something which must have evidence. Otherwise, we cannot wish away something said by someone who has just thought about it or heard ...

Thank you very much Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity. First, I thank my colleague the Member for Busia. As you are all aware, this accident took place somewhere around Fort Ternan. Fort Ternan is at the border of Muhoroni and Kipkelion West. A lot of innocent blood was spilled moving towards Muhoroni; a place where people are very prayerful. On behalf of the people of Muhoroni, I am extending our wholehearted sympathies and condolences. A lot has been canvassed in this House. I have made two deductions. One, it is because of ineptitude, carelessness and the ...
