Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Government for his response. However, I would like to ask him to pay the balance with interest. Yes, indeed, Mr. Jonyo did receive Kshs90,000. He also received payment for terminal leave days. In fact, he received most of these enumerated payments. However, regarding the pension contributions, he was told that a cheque was written, but he never saw that cheque. You know what is happening in our Government offices. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, you know as well as I do that the production of a copy of the cheque or a cashed cheque in the bank does not necessarily necessitate that he, himself, cashed that cheque. That is why I was asking from the outset that we do a forensic audit on those cheques that were purportedly written to this man. This man is suffering and he needs cash. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, Kendu Bay-Oyugis Road has now become a major business corridor road that connects the lake area to the Bomet area. This is because the Government has spent a lot of money in putting refrigeration on the beaches of Kendu Bay along the area on the border.
