11 Jun 2013 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, Sir, I am just wondering whether he is right, because he has rested his case and does not need answers. However, Hon. Shimbwa has raised a very weighty matter. In actual fact, my Committee is already seized of the matter. However, in your direction you said that this has to come in a form of a report. The fact is that we also have several other statements that have been requested by hon. Members; I request that we be given four weeks to present a conclusive and clear report to the House.

14 May 2013 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, hon. Speaker, Sir. I think it is important for Members to know that, especially those who are not aware, that I personally opposed the report of the Committee in relation to the rejection of Ms. Kandie. Let that be very clear from the outset.
