The Petition is not only timely, but also informs the big four agenda for the Jubilee Government. It as well informs the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the issue of engineers. • 14 Mar 2018 in National Assembly: sheria ambayo itatengewa pesa kwenye Bajeti. Isiwe tu ni kusema na kunena bila kutekeleza. Azimio lilitolewa kule Abuja mwaka wa 2001. Tusiseme tu tuweke viwango fulani vya hospitali ila tuzungumzie uzuri wa hospitali katika kila kiwango. Aidha tuhakikishe pesa zinazowekwa kwenye Bajeti zinalingana na kila kiwango. Nasema hivyo kwa sababu, kwenye Azimio la Abuja, ilisemekana kuwa kiwango cha chini sana cha pesa kiwe ni 15% kwenye Bajeti nzima. Kama nchi bado tuko mbali, lazima tujikakamue kuafikia lengo hilo. I join my colleagues in supporting this Special Motion on the appointment of the two gentlemen to the very critical State Department for Devolution and Planning. It is high time we got the Government rolling out services speedily to Kenyans. This Ministry holds a very special place. When we talk about women who die from unsafe abortions, we want to see those statistics transmitted to the Ministry of Health to inform policy. We have been here before to adopt this Sessional Paper. It is not actionable until we put our money where our mouth is. It is not actionable until we put resources in it.
