We deny them those opportunities. It is high time we relooked at the procedures and the methods these people use to forward names to CRB. When you employ someone that is when they can pay whatever loan they owe any entity. The question of HELB has been coming up on and off. I remember, Hon. We ask our youths, especially the upcoming ones, for clearance certificates yet politicians and leaders in this country occupy big offices and are known criminals. Why are we denying the youths positions just because of some clearance certificate? I do not think it is very necessary. So, we need to remove those clearances and things yenye wanaulizwa, so that our youth can get employed. I think we need to remove those. view

You know I have so many criminals including even me as a potential criminal because I have been on record being arrested several times, but I still find my way to Parliament and other serious opportunities. As you said, this is a very serious matter because it touches on the issue that is provided for in the Constitution, that it is the right of every citizen to education. The reason we are starting new schools is the introduction of free day secondary education. There are many parents who cannot afford to send their children to boarding schools, and to other schools which are very far away. • 17 Aug 2021 in National Assembly: Dam, which I have visited, is half complete. This dam was going to serve almost the whole of Nakuru County including the neighbouring counties. However, because of our useless political undertakings, these dams have stalled and we have nothing to tell our generations why they have stalled. I hope that the introduction of this National Irrigation Authority will make some of these dams fall under it so that it takes responsibility of the drilling of boreholes and construction of dams.
