Speaker, before we go to the next Order, I wish to seek your guidance and direction on a matter that seems to be evolving too fast, namely, proper dressing in the House. In the recent past, we have had religious dressing and some that are not and you have been asked to make rulings on them. The tiff between His Excellency the President and the Chief Justice and the Chief Justice and the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) is not helpful for this country. Any criminal trial lawyer here will tell you that many factors go into adjourning cases and that each case must be looked at on its own merits. Barasa because apart from the fact that he appears not to understand what you have now explained to him, the other fact is he appears to be under the impression that there are committees of this House that do not act the way they should.
