When a police station is attacked by members of the public or criminals and the police attack the nearest village and beat up people indiscriminately, it simply means that their level of training is not as high as it should be. Deputy Speaker, I wish to make an observation arising from what my colleagues have said, that is, the delay in presenting reports concerning petitions. As we approach elections, it is important that Members, particularly those in committees, become conscious about the sensitivity of some of the issues raised in the petitions.
