Further, the stakeholders comments were incorporated by the Constitutional Implementation Committee and the Bill submitted to the Attorney- General. On 19th August, the Cabinet approved and forwarded this Bill to the Attorney- General. No, what I said was that the longer name “Employment and Labour Relations Court” was borrowed from the Constitution of Kenya. So we just borrowed the subject of discussion. If we decide to amend it at the Committee Stage, it will be okay. I was saying we want to thank COTU, the stakeholders for the input in this Bill. The term “affordable” is another subject of discussion. We fear that it will be used to exploit the workers. So, again, that could also be considered.
