  • 11 Oct 2017 in National Assembly: Tinderet. As a nation, let us all come together as Members of Parliament to support this issue of poor farmers instead of living them that way. I support, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Thank you view
  • 11 Oct 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, for giving me a chance to support this amendment as proposed by the Leader of the Majority Party. It is always good that Kenyan’s actions be aligned to the Constitution. It is always good also for the people of Kenya to get information at their fingertips so that when they make a decision or when they are told things are done by the Government, they agree because they know. So I support. view

  • 14 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for giving me this chance to also air my views. The President’s Speech was good and what impressed me is when the President highlighted on the empowerment of women in this country. Indeed, the President and the Deputy President, or the Jubilee Government, have shown practically. For the last four years, we have seen a lot of changes on the side of women of this country being put in different positions. The President highlighted on so many things that affect the country. For the last four years, this country has changed in terms of development in ... view
  • 14 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: country. In terms of infrastructure, we can show many things that this Government has done. The same can be said of water and electricity all over the country. This is a unique President who has been appreciated all over the world, because he accepted the ruling of the Supreme Court. He has shown the whole world that he really loves this country, and he respects the Constitution. What would have happened, if it was somebody else? Imagine you have been declared the winner and then the court rules otherwise. We congratulate our President for the patience he has exhibited. We, ... view
  • 14 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: The President highlighted the issue of security in this country. The security of this country has changed. It is not like before. When they took over, this country had a lot of problems with security but now we are happy. We can do anything. We can walk. Even in towns like Nairobi, there were so many robbers but it has come down. So, we appreciate that the leadership of President Uhuru has really changed this country. He told the country to respect the Constitution. By doing so, he showed himself as an example of love and unity. That is why ... view
  • 21 Mar 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving this chance. The President‘s Speech, to me, was good. This is because he touched on very many things which I expected him to touch on, for example, security. We know that the security of this country has improved a great deal. Being in the Opposition does not mean that we oppose everything. Even if I left the Opposition camp the other day, the Government of Jubilee has done a lot of work. I am being honest. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, even the last time I visited your area because we were together ... view
  • 31 Jan 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me this chance to speak about the Hydrologists Bill. I do not know the number of hydrologists we have in this country. Indeed, we have a lot of problems in this country. The biggest problem in this country is deforestation. Forests have been cleared. The laws of this country are weak because mwananchi can just decide to cut down trees without any permission. Many of our people are clearing the forests. That is why we have these big problems. The water towers are drying up. Every water tower, when you pass ... view
  • 31 Jan 2017 in National Assembly: in town you are likely to see street boys tampering with water pipes. They use the water to wash vehicles. So, in this country, we need to put down rules even if we are crying of drought and other things. The rules are not proper. With the rules against deforestation, many of our forests are now down and there is nowhere we can go. We beat people like the Masai, Samburu and people of North Eastern. The Government should come up with a policy of planting trees in those areas. I have been in the military and wherever we were--- ... view
  • 30 Nov 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me a chance to speak on this good Motion. I want to congratulate Hon. Lusweti for bringing it. For the first time, he has been quiet in this House, I think he has tried. view
