  • 22 Feb 2022 in Senate: We need to put the provision that mandates because we have Article 219 that talks about what is due to counties going to counties but it is not sent. The answer is simple. view
  • 22 Feb 2022 in Senate: Madam Deputy Speaker, I am sure Sen. Ochillo-Ayacko knows what we have been saying. Our debt to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) ratio is at 72 percent. However, view
  • 22 Feb 2022 in Senate: The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate. view
  • 22 Feb 2022 in Senate: our revenue to debt ratio, which we do not look at is the problem. In this Statement, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has indicated it has surpassed revenue collection targets. view

  • 22 Feb 2022 in Senate: Madam Deputy Speaker, with those remarks, I support the Statement and ask the Committee on Finance and Budget to let us know the date that the CS is going to come because we have specific questions with regard to our counties. In addition, invite the Controller of Budget to appear with the CS. It is important because there is a lot of blame shifting when it comes to disbursements to counties. view
