Besides, the high level of unemployment and rising poverty levels amongst pastoral communities are fuelling this cattle rustling. It is no longer a cultural and traditional act. But, I would like to take this opportunity, as I close and move, to really thank Members from the North Rift counties. In 2014, they were led by the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency William Ruto, who went on a tour of all these counties with these Members and preached peace.
