  • 9 Jan 2013 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, as long as I have known, the village elders have been in existence. So, how are they supposed to survive when they have no remuneration? • 9 Jan 2013 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, as much as I do not want to contravene the Standing Orders of this House by anticipating Debate, on today’s Order Paper, we have the Adjournment Motion. As we speak, this school cannot continue with operations because part of its land has been grabbed. If we were to break before the Minister gives us an answer that would mean that the school waits until the end of next term before it continues operation. My request is that we put enough sanctions against the Minister because the school cannot continue operating. view

What formed the basis of him going to the Standard Newspaper rather than go to all the media houses, including the local ones? view
  • 2 Jan 2013 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, first of all, I want to pass condolences from the people of Kirinyaga Central to you and the family of the bereaved. Let me take this chance to congratulate Dr. Monda for bringing this Bill to the House. I am on record in this august House having brought a Question whereby somebody died when he was being transferred from Kerugoya Hospital to another hospital due to lack of drugs. I want to say that my colleague has brought this Bill timely in the House because as you are aware the founding father of this country ... view
  • 27 Dec 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank the Assistant Minister for that answer. However, since these people have lived there for 70 years, is he aware that if they go to court and claim under adverse protection, they will be given part of the piece of the land? view

  • 20 Dec 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, while thanking the Assistant Minister for the good answer, I would like to ask him whether he is aware that this accident was caused by one of his officers, Inspector Francis Gituma Mukiira who, I am made to understand was very drunk and was going home in the morning. Having known that, what action have you taken against your officer, Inspector Francis Gituma Mukiira because of drunkenness and causing the accident? view
