  • 27 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: subsection─ (1) Where an insurer is part of a group, the Commissioner may direct the principal officer to provide any information necessary for effective group-wide supervision. (b) inserting the following subsection immediately after subsection (2) ─ (3) In this section, “group” means an entity carrying on any other business in addition to insurance business. The amendment is meant to ensure that the principal officer of an insurance group is duly authorised to provide information whenever required by the commissioner.
