  • 8 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I would like to ask the Government whether it is in control, or it is just playing around with Kenyans’ lives. It is very shameful and disappointing to hear the Assistant Minister speak with a lot of confidence as if all is well when our citizens are dying because of that poor man; the doctor, who is crying for his right. I thought the Assistant Minister would be using a reconciliatory language to the striking doctors. Given the way he put it right here, Kenyans should not have confidence in the Grand Coalition Government. My humble ... view
  • 2 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while I appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister, this is not the first time the Ministry of Roads has come up in this House and said that they are going to rectify a certain section of the road. This is not the first time Members have complained on the risks on the major highways. I have an area in my constituency from Mwisho wa Lami to Kisiriri. We have talked with the Ministry and they said they that they have allocated money for that road. I would request the Minister to tell this House ... view
  • 2 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Is the Assistant Minister in order to mislead this House when he says that he is going to look into that section--- view
  • 2 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, Mwisho wa Lami to Kisiriri knowing very well--- view

  • 2 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I was supporting the Member for Kirinyaga Central because that Question he raised received the same answer the Assistant Minister gave before. Will I be in order to request the Assistant Minister to tell this House exactly after what specific time the road in Kirinyaga will be finished? view
  • 2 Nov 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, while I appreciate the measures the Government is taking as stated by the Minister, what measures has the Government taken to sensitize and educate the public about any suspicious parcels, objects and persons among the communities? The public should be sensitized to report such parcels or persons to the relevant authority, so that the Government can take appropriate action. view
  • 25 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Forestry and Wildlife:- (a) whether he is aware that farmers in Lare Division of Njoro District have been losing livestock to stray wild animals from Lake Nakuru National Park in spite of the existence of an electric fence around the park; (b) what steps he has taken to address the problem; and, (c) when Mr. Samuel Kuria Gichu of Naishi-Game Location of Njoro District will be compensated for the loss of his cow and donkey, which were killed by a lion from the park on the night of 8th May, 2011. view
  • 25 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, whereas I appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister, this is not the first time wildlife have strayed from the national park. I would like the Assistant Minister to state what actions they have taken to make sure the area from which the wild animals escape is fenced off, so that no more wild animal can get out of that area? view
