  • 25 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I agree with the Assistant Minister that they are going to take those actions but I would like to ask him whether he is aware that there is a pride of leopards which has already left the national park and is preying on domestic livestock in Njoro Division and Lare Division, and that residents of those areas are not able to go about their daily activities for fear of their lives since the leopards have been roaming around those areas even during day time? view
  • 19 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I hope the Assistant Minister is aware of what we went through early this year, when we were buying one bag of maize at over Kshs1,000. But now, since our farmers have been blessed and there is a bumper harvest in most parts of the country, what measures is the Government taking to buy all the maize from the farmers? At what price will the Government buy the maize because we have a feeling that, if the Government does not take appropriate action, farmers will be discouraged from farming next season? view
  • 13 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: Yes, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker. While I do appreciate that the Assistant Minister--- view
  • 13 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I would like him, when he comes back to this House, to come with a record of those Kenyans who have been dismissed; he should have a full record of their misdeeds. We feel that there is more to it than meets the eye! view
  • 12 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, could the Assistant Minister inform the House whether it is possible to employ these youths permanently according to their qualifications instead employing them on temporary terms? The funds that they normally allocate to constituencies are collected by the youth and there is no proper way of them stating where that money was utilized? view
  • 12 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. It seems the Assistant Minister is not sincere with his answer. Will I be in order to request the Chair to defer this Question so that he comes with a satisfactory answer? view
  • 8 Sep 2011 in National Assembly: Thank you, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker; I also want to support this Motion. Before I proceed, I also want to join my colleagues in congratulating ourselves for a job well done. We have done a lot of work and I feel--- view
  • 8 Sep 2011 in National Assembly: Thank you, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker. Some people tend to think that since they are a little bit privileged, and are normally given time, they can disrupt other peoples’ chances. This is our time. view
  • 8 Sep 2011 in National Assembly: As we go for recess, I have three issues to raise. First of all, I think that the Government has failed Kenyans on the issue of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Now, we are in the fourth year and these people are still in the camps. I take this opportunity to challenge the Government to take this issue very seriously. Let them go out and sort out the genuine and the fake IDPs. Let all the genuine IDPs be resettled. If there are pretenders, then they can be moved from the camps. view
