  • 1 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, this is an issue that we had discussed with the Chair. However, we have had a lot of challenges with the Executive responding to Questions. Your statement can give them a leeway of undermining the House. We need to hold these people responsible. This is a very serious matter, but you are giving them an exit way. We need to bring the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to respond. view
  • 1 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker, as you have directed or indicated, I am sure this will also give me bonga points in Mwingi Central if that is the case. I was requested by Hon. Gideon Mulyungi, Member for Mwingi Central, to ask Question 522/2021 to the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection. • 29 Sep 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, let me inform the Committee at the preliminary stages that even during the public participation, in the Bill there was a section where they had introduced a clause where the NHIF was going to lend money to some hospitals. However, we deleted that section because it was prone to abuse. I know Hon. Ochieng’ to be a very honest person all the way from the university. Such an attempt of introducing a framework where NHIF is going to have anything that they are going to use as collateral is going to be misused. We should, therefore, ... view
