• 1 Mar 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. On Tuesday last week, I requested for a Ministerial Statement from the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security over the deteriorating security situation in Uasin Gishu and Trans Nzoia Counties. There are attacks which were done in several hotels in Uasin Gishu County. I requested the Minister to give the number of people who have been killed in those two counties. The Minister undertook to issue the Ministerial Statement today but up to now, there is no communication. So, I seek your indulgence. view

I would like to thank the Assistant Minister for answering this Question precisely and diligently, and for stating that the facilities in Kachibora Police Station were established in 1920. Up to today, its houses are still mud walled. That is a very good Assistant Minister who has answered a good Question. view

The police station was established in 1920; today, he is telling this House that this facility is still mud walled, and that the offices can collapse any time. The Assistant Minister has talked about a ten-year plan to upgrade this police station, which was established in 1920. view

This is one of the factors to be considered so as to post an OCPD to that area. Does he want to tell the people of my constituency to increase crime and related activities for him to take action? view

Ni mipango gani halmashauri hii imeweka kuhakikisha kwamba watu ambao ni wakaazi wa chemichemi za maji wamepata maji ili wazihifadhi chemichemi hizo? Ninasema hivyo kwa sababu kuna bomba linaloelekea Mkoa wa Magharibi, lakini chemichemi iko katika Eneo Bunge langu. Bomba hili linapitia Taarafa ya Kaplamai, lakini kwa sasa wengi wa wakaazi hawaoni manufaa ya maji hayo.
