Instead of encouraging the sharing of base transmission stations, we should discourage installation of new ones. We should make sure that existing ones are fully utilised. I remember when I owned my first mobile telephone I could not talk while standing behind a building. This was because the company which was the supplier then had very few base stations. • 15 Nov 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I think the Chairman is not being very generous with information. He has told us that NSSF is a private sector membership fund. The Government has six nominees and he has not told us why he is making these changes. We do not understand what he is doing. We want the Chair to explain to us the import of these amendments so that we can vote wisely. I would like the Chair to be more generous with information. view

  • 14 Nov 2018 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, this is the paragraph that requires that your tribe be registered by the Registrar of Persons. We are a united nation. We are a nation of Kenyans and not of tribes. That is why we do not want to keep being reminded of where we have come from as tribal people. We want to be one nation of Kenyans and we do not want the Registrar of Persons to group us as tribes. view
