  • 14 Feb 2017 in National Assembly: The justification for the amendment in Clause 16 (a) is that the review of a provisional registered school may be done between six to 12 months or a shorter period, if in the circumstances the department finds it necessary to do so. The shorter period should not be subject to the head teacher’s consent. That is a very clear way. The justification in Sub-clause (b) is that the Committee agreed to use the term “head teacher” as per the earlier reasoning because we do not want the words “principal” and “head teacher” to be interchanged.
