  • 5 Jul 2018 in National Assembly: The Ministry of Health said that they are still continuing with sampling. They will take samples in all the counties. Their officers are on the ground testing the sugar. They are very busy for 24 hours. They will table all the results in all the counties by next week, view
  • 5 Jul 2018 in National Assembly: Is there any other issue, Hon. Speaker? view
  • 27 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I want to give my two brief comments on the two petitions if you allow me. I will start with the one submitted by Hon. Theuri, Member for Embakasi West. This issue of betting and gambling is a problem in this country, especially to the young people. Since you are the chair of the Liaison Committee, can you also table names of male chairs, including Hon. Kathuri and Hon. Opiyo Wandayi, who are also doing equally well in the committees that they chair so that Kenyans can judge us objectively? view
  • 3 May 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I also want to comment on this Petition. Most of the areas in Kenya are dry. Almost two-thirds of the Kenyan land mass is dry. As we ask the national Government to build those boreholes, Turkana County receives the highest amount of money from Parliament through the county government. Therefore, Turkana County receives money from the county government plus the Equalisation Fund through this Parliament because we have that responsibility. We would like to see what has been done in Turkana County with those two funds. I chair the Committee on Special Funds which looks ... view
