  • 3 Apr 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is not a question. I have an observation to make. I had 292 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES April 3, 2007 filed a similar Question. The Ministry is not the best placed to deal with that problem. I would like to request that this Question be referred to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources. A lot of money was spent through the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Programme (LVEMP), which is dealing with the water hyacinth. view

Mr. Speaker, Sir, on the Women Enterprise Development Fund, the President said it would be started at a later date. I want to give an example of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund. It was initiated and put in the Budget in June. Today, ten months down the line, only Kshs210 million has been dispatched.
