Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Secondly, Mr. Speaker, Sir, a president of a nation must be respected at all costs. President Uhuru is on his second year in office and we need to hear what he says about this Nation, because this nation has several issues. So, Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to support this Motion on those two premises. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir.

Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. From the outset, I stand to oppose this Motion and the timelines set. The CRA from day one, in conjunction with the Committee on Finance, Commerce and Budget, should have taken us for a retreat to educate and enlighten us so that we can have an understanding. In the Statement, I need an explanation on:- (1) The rationale used by the transport industry to set fare charges and how the Government regulates falls. (2) What fuel price drop in Kenya Shillings will be significant enough to guarantee a drop in the fare charges; and, (3) What the national Government is doing or is planning to ...

Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir, my concern was on part (b) which talks about training. The essence of passing this Bill is to give the reservists sufficient basic training but if you delete that part, you are defeating the purpose. These reservists are supposed to be trained, given uniform and firearms.
