Thank you. This is an interesting, technical one. The Chair can guide us because the Leader of the Majority Party also has an amendment that he wants to bring in. If I delete, his amendment falls, but the substance of his proposal--- I have studied the amendment by the Leader of the Majority Party. It will improve something to do with--- Please allow us one minute to caucus with the Leader of the Majority Party.

Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting clause 30. If we retain Clause 30 as it is in the Bill, it is a repeal or amendment of another law, the Children Act, which has very specific directions on how children should be treated. Children should not be deprived of liberty. They should not be subjected to cruel punishment and torture. This is also in the Constitution. So, we already have a very good Children Act. If we touch it, we are taking away something which is actually provided for in the Constitution ...
