  • 21 Nov 2018 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is not usual for people from the region where he comes from that the name ‗Ochillo‘ would go with ‗Mbogo.‘ However, I saw in the by-election that led to his election that his competitor and him, apart from just having names that are from the Luo community, also have names that are attributed to the people of the former Central Province; the Kikuyu. Ochillo-Ayacko also did his Masters of Law Degree at the University of Nairobi, where yours truly had a privilege of having him as a student in his class. Wako and Sen. Haji, whose responsibility is to ‗build bridges‘ to the proverbial Canaan. I say so because I had a conversation with Sen.
