Mr. Speaker, Sir, I still think the right thing to do is to further amend the amendment by the Mover. If he wants to have more Members with the consultation we have talked about, we can have one person from this side and one from the other side so that we stop debating on this issue and go back to the main issue.

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, is Sen. Malalah in order to arrogate himself the responsibility of defender of one Rai, when Sen. Cheruiyot never mentioned any Senator. Is there a link between Sen. Malalah and the person called Rai or on what basis did he stand up to raise the point of order? I am asking this because he was the only one who was unsettled by the mention of the name “Mr. Rai.”

That is a violation of human rights. Article 43 of the Constitution provides the right to housing. Many of the people have had their houses burnt and they are sleeping outside.
