Having benefitted from the Senate Mashinani sittings, I would say that it is a very important session for the Senate. The Senate Mashinani has built capacity in our counties, particularly on devolved functions. On the aspect of accountability, it affords the Senate Public Accounts Committee (PAC) the opportunity to interrogate the books of accounts and also put the Governor to task.
