I also want to extend my condolences to the Jubilee Coalition; we have lost one of our comrades in the political circles. Generally, I would want to condole with Parliament, especially the National Assembly because we have lost one ... view
  • 4 Dec 2014 in Senate: I am being asked who Sen. Hosea Onchwangi. He is the Nominated Senator for the majority side. We discovered that he is serving in only one Committee. When I interrogated him, he said that part of the reason why he does not feel very accommodated is because, unlike other Senators, he is the only Senator who is serving in one Committee. We are recommending Sen. Onchwangi to this Committee. view
  • 31 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I had actually almost completed moving this Motion. We have a number of Bills that we must conclude. Other than the County Allocation of Revenue Bill, we have the Public Procurement and Disposal (Amendment) Bill. Most importantly, we have the Impeachment Motion regarding the Deputy Governor of Machakos County which is time bound. • 15 May 2014 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. Sen. Orengo is one of the most level-headed Senators in this House and his intellectual depth is not in question. However, is he in order to use a term like “fraud” and impute improper motives on the Chairperson of the Committee on Finance, Commerce and Budget or any other person, for that matter, concerning any discrepancies that may be there in the Schedule? The word “fraud” connotes criminality and criminal intent. Is he in order to use the word “fraud”? If he is not in order, can he have the humility ... view
