17 Jul 2014 in Senate:
Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to support this amendment Bill. I support it because it targets the three key groups, who are the majority in our society. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this is a very good initiative. For anything to be done, it must start from somewhere. If the Government is setting aside 30 per cent of the tenders for the youths, women and people with disabilities, it is a very good initiative. I believe that with time it will be improved. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have only two concerns about this Bill. ...

16 Jul 2014 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I also want to take this opportunity to congratulate Sen. Musila for making sure that what he brought to this Floor the other time has gone through. We are so happy; I am one of those parents who are so happy, especially when the Deputy President was very concerned and gave a directive on the same issue. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to take this opportunity to thank some head teachers who have started implementing the directive. I have witnessed one who has done that. 2 Jul 2014 in Senate:
Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to support this Motion. First and foremost, I want to thank the Mover, Sen. Mositet. I am saying this because of two reasons. We all know that people in the rural areas have been suffering because of poor infrastructure. It would be good if the The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate.

24 Jun 2014 in Senate:

5 Jun 2014 in Senate:
Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, we all know that there is a document that is normally issued in hospitals immediately after babies are born, known as birth notification. If they can issue a birth notification, why can they not issue a birth certificate at that particular time? Probably, it is another way of collecting funds, but it is very possible.
