Similarly, if a matter is live in this House, it cannot be taken to court and whoever goes to court must be honest with the court and say: “That matter is live in Parliament.” Therefore, the courts will decide. view

Once a matter is already live here, then immediately the courts respect that and they do not interfere with the matter. Once a matter is already live in court, then the Senate cannot deal with it. These proceedings were prosecuted yesterday and it is a matter of public notoriety even to the Tribunal that the matters were already live in the Senate. At one time I had an opportunity to be the secretary for youth and sport in this country and I am very familiar with what the hon. Senator is presenting. Sports is an industry which brings serious income into the country and employs youths as well as paying well. A footballer who is well known or is in the right football clubs in the world is likely earning not less than Kshs30 million per month and much more. ... view

Even different games can be held in different counties such as Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi and every other place. We must prepare ourselves so that one time we can be able to hold Olympics in this country. We have done African Championship but we have not got to the level of Olympics.
