16 May 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to thank the Assistant Minister for assuring this House that the Government will import vehicles for combating crime in this country. Could he tell this House what type of vehicles they have imported? That is because, ordinarily, they import saloon cars which are used in urban areas and not in rural areas. Could he assure us that they have imported proper and ideal four wheel drive vehicles that can be able to combat crime in the rural areas?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, considering what has happened as a result of heavy rains, what is the Ministry doing to make sure that at least Nairobians are safe because we have a problem in the City of Nairobi? What plans does he have to help ease traffic jam in Nairobi, especially during the rainy season?

19 Apr 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I stand here to support this Motion because it is a very important one; we need to pass this Supplementary Budget because we know we have our soldiers fighting in Somalia. That is number one; we know that war, anywhere in the world, is very expensive. This is the first time, I think, the country is fighting a full scale war in another country; our soldiers need support, so that they get motivated and continue to fight. They are fighting and dying for the sake of Kenyans. So, whatever they are doing cannot be taken ...

19 Apr 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I support this Motion, again, because we are going to pay our nurses properly. We know that nurses do a very good job. They are professionals and we spend a lot of money training them. So, if we cannot maintain them, it will be a disgrace. The other day the nurses were on the streets and it is very embarrassing for our country that we cannot pay our nurses properly. We do not need to have such kind of thing happening again in this country. Again, we know that our nurses are running out of ...

19 Apr 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the other point that I would like to make that has made me support this Motion is about teachers. We need to have more teachers employed in this country. This is because if you go to any school in the country, including Kandara, you will notice there are no enough teachers. So, it is important that we employ these teachers. After employing them, we need to pay them good money because it is very embarrassing to see a teacher teaching and he cannot support his family, dress properly or live decently. So, it is important ...

14 Mar 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like the Prime Minister to give us some clarification. When I listened to the grievances that have been raised by the MRC, I had a lot of doubts as to whether these people are genuine, because they raised the issue of unemployment, yet unemployment is a normal thing in this country. So many people are jobless; in my opinion I do not think it is really a grievance; joblessness is a normal thing because very many people are not working.

14 Mar 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like the Prime Minister to give us the names of the leaders of this MRC. I do not think it is just moving without a leader. There must be some leadership that has led them to where it has reached.
