  • 2 Mar 2023 in Senate: us a short cut. It would have been better for us to have a review of the Constitution itself, so that we know exactly where we are going. Madam Temporary Speaker, I agree with the concerns raised by Sen. Wambua. I thank him for bringing them forward, so that we can do something that our people are keen on. view
  • 28 Feb 2023 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me the opportunity to join my colleagues, first, in congratulating hon. Muthama for the nomination to be in the PSC. You and I were in the 10th Parliament where he served as a Member of Parliament and we know how much he knows about parliamentary rules and services. I really believe that he is going to serve as a very good commissioner. Hon. Muthama is one person who has served both in the National Assembly and in the Senate. I want to agree with the Senate Majority Leader that this is one person ... view

With those remarks, I congratulate hon. Muthama and thank the ... view

  • 22 Feb 2023 in Senate: First, as we welcome them, I would like to tell them that their future is very bright in this country. However, it is bright for those who work hard and for those who concentrate and do what must be done when you are a student. The time of being a student is so limited. view
  • 22 Feb 2023 in Senate: Basic education in Kenya is recognised from Pre-primary One (PP1) to form four. The period is so limited that if you waste it, you lose it. I wish you well. You are very fortunate to have come to the Senate. When some of us were students, there was nothing to inspire us because Parliament was a no-go zone. Now, you can come and see your leaders, your Members of Parliament (MPs) and see where people come from. view
  • 22 Feb 2023 in Senate: All the Members in this House were once students as yourselves. So, I encourage the students that as they go, they work hard, stay focused and the sky is the limit. view
