  • 23 Oct 2014 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, on 1st October, 2014, I had requested a Statement from the Standing Committee on Health on the status of the drugs that were destroyed at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) which were meant to treat type II diabetes in children. It was due this week, maybe I could get a status on the same from the Committee. view
  • 23 Oct 2014 in National Assembly: Asante sana Bw. Spika. Ningependa kumshukuru Sen.
  • 23 Oct 2014 in National Assembly: .

  • 22 Oct 2014 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I join my colleagues on noting the Address on His Excellency the President that he made on Monday 6th October, 2014 during the Special Sitting of Parliament. Mr. Speaker, Sir, before the President left for The Hague, there was a lot of anxiety in the country. There were so many people giving different scenarios on what could happen if he went to The Hague. There were many analysts on television and radio justifying their reason he should or should not attend his status conference at The Hague. However, when he addressed the Special Sitting of ... view

  • 25 Sep 2014 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I want to thank the Mover of the Motion for giving me two minutes and also congratulate her for bringing this timely Motion here. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, in an ideal situation, we should not be talking about children having children, but today we are in a world where this is happening. In fact, in the recent statistics, out of the new HIV/AIDS infections, a third of them are of people aged 14 to 24 years. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, we, as a country, are dealing with a big crisis. I know a lot ... view

  • 15 Aug 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to, first of all, thank the Committee under the chairmanship of the Senator of Nyeri County, Sen. Kagwe. I thank the secretariat for the work and hours they put to make sure that this report was presented to this House. Mr. Speaker, Sir, from the outset, I support this report because I know there are some things in this country that we take to be normal. When we were listening to the submissions of this case, and we sat for long hours, listening to accusations and counter accusations, we were in agreement on many of ... view
