  • 20 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Education is about educating, preparing, qualifying and integrating people into society. It is a learning process. For the first time, we have a scholar who has proven himself in charge of the Ministry. He is a scientist, an administrator of a learning institution, namely, the UON, where several of us passed through and he has been a chairman of the process through which we check the integrity of our education process; KNEC. view

  • 20 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Where we are going, and I would like to borrow the comments that were made by Hon. Musimba, we expect a different way of running our education sector from Prof. Magoha. The world has become a village and requires our education system to jump many spaces. • 13 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I stand under Standing Order 95. I was thinking we have had a long discussion about the approval of these nominees. We seem to be saying the same things. We all seem to be in view

  • 13 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: agreement. When you listen to us, we are speaking about the fact that we have people with disabilities, young people and a good gender mix. That is what we keep saying. Should we now not ask the Mover to reply, so that we can move to the next business of the House? view
  • 7 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I am very confused because when the Hon. Leader of the Majority Party stood up on a point of order on this Report, he introduced a constitutional issue. Unfortunately, since then what I am hearing are arguments derived from the Report about why we should not listen to the Report. Then what is essentially happening is that we are actually debating the Report without debating the Report. view
