Thank you, Madam Deputy Speaker, for giving me a chance to also add my voice to this important Statement by Sen. (Dr.) Milgo. I wish we could support the youth in our rural areas to invest in food security. Since agriculture is now a devolved function, I also wish our county governments invested in supporting smallholder farmers and youth carrying out agriculture. Some companies have leases of 99 years. They have been exploiting natural resources for many years, but doing nothing meaningful to the community.
