a coffee union 44A. (1) A cooperative society or a coffee union- (a) shall in charging a fee to its growers, adhere to the society’s budget and not exceed ten percent of the gross earnings from the coffee sales; (b) despite having a registered brokerage firm, may engage the services of a private brokerage firm; and (c) may pass a resolution to borrow money; (2) A resolution under subsection (1) (b) and (c) shall be made at a general or special meeting convened by the commissioner for cooperative development and be supported by at least three quarters of its members. ...
