  • 6 Oct 2021 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for giving me this chance to also add my voice to this important Bill touching on the health of our people and our health workers. Health services are devolved functions under Part 11 of the Fourth Schedule of the Constitution. County governments are charged to manage health services from Levels 1 to 5. These levels are where majority of our people in this country go to access health services. In most cases, they lack drugs and staff are demotivated. We are frustrating our health workers. People of this country cannot access the right health ... view

  • 6 Oct 2021 in Senate: the counties level. There is a disparity among health workers in all the 47 counties in terms of salaries, welfare and management of the entire sector. I think this Inter-Governmental Act should be amended to harmonies what is happening in the public service boards that employ staff. • 5 Oct 2021 in Senate: Therefore, the progress of drilling water could not continue in that particular county. The major plan was to drill water and start growing water melons and other agricultural food products in that area. However, this was challenged as a result of the legal issues that affected these public private partnership engagements. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, public private partnership engagement shall spur development in our country and even reduce the debts that we have been having as a country. Our country has been cherished as one of the countries that have the most progressive Constitution because of providing for the county ... view
