If you read Walter Rodney’s How Europe underdeveloped Africa, you will realise that Europeans came to this country and did a lot of injustice to Kenyans. They took away land from African communities.   • 19 Nov 2014 in National Assembly: The late Otieno Kajwang’ and I had known each other for a long time. I learnt him better when I lost my elections. I had an opportunity of going to his office when he was the Minister for Immigration and Registration of persons and I saw him carry out a lot of reforms in that department. For a long time, the Department of Immigration had been the most corrupt institution, but he brought a lot of changes which brought good things to the people of my constituency.
