It is not acceptable in the 21st Century that Kenyans are kicking one another in broad daylight when everybody is just watching. Some people complain that the bandits have sophisticated weapons. • 9 Sep 2021 in Senate: Madam Deputy Speaker, I generally support the Statement. I thank the Senator for Laikipia for bringing the Statement. There is not Al-Shabaab in that part. There are no bandits from outside. We can accept when someone says that Al-Shabaab have come into our country or are fighting from the outside, but there are no Al-Shabaab in Laikipia. These are the local people. They must be dealt with so that we can give security to all the people of Laikipia. Is it procedural for us to start debating a report which has been tabled and has not been moved as a Motion for the House to adopt or reject? Is it in order? view
• 29 Jul 2021 in Senate: Madam Deputy Speaker, we did not want to debate this Report before, but I come from that region. The ENNDA covers 100 per cent of my county and many others. I have not read the Report made by Members, but I know the story of the 56 people. They were casuals for many years and they wanted to regularize. So, they asked them to apply.
