Hon. Speaker, I rise to give a brief on the business before the Procedure and House Rules Committee. The Committee has been considering proposals to Standing Orders. Pursuant to Standing Order Nos. 262 and 263, amendments can be proposed by the Committee or through the initiative of a member. In the course of the 11th Parliament, various issues have been noted which require review of the Standing Orders.
