21 Oct 2015 in National Assembly:
Hon. Weru, I know you are very passionate about issues of coffee. However, do you have information on when the petition was brought to this House? You are now an old Member of this House and you know that the Committee has some 60 days to work on that matter.

21 Oct 2015 in National Assembly:
We will be looking at when it was brought before the House and, therefore, committed to the Committee. We can get the Chairperson or a ranking Member of the Committee to give us information on how far they have gone with the matter. I can see Hon. Washiali attempting to catch my eye and he has succeeded. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor.

21 Oct 2015 in National Assembly:
Hon. Wandayi, I have indulged you sufficiently. You are now an old hand in the House. We are three years into the 11th Parliament. Let us approach these issues in the right manner so that they can be transacted properly. You have made your point and that should be it. We do not want to open that debate because I can see many Members want to speak to that matter without using the right channels. We will be opening something that has not come here properly.
