• 25 Apr 2012 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, protection of spousal rights should not only be restricted to matrimonial home as defined in the land law, except for the matrimonial home in which the other spouse and the family resides. It would be difficult for third parties to ascertain whether the premise is a matrimonial property, especially when the family does not reside there. view

We also invited the Law Reform Commission and other bodies. Given the sentiments expressed and the level of articulation, I beg to withdraw the amendment. view
